It was a healthy birth. My wife is a total bad ass. We're blessed.

1. The 5 Foundational Habits of the Ultra Successful

12 years ago, a mentor of mine gave me a piece of advice that I never forgot.

He said, "Tim, you'll be successful as soon as you learn how to get out of your own way.”

Becoming successful in business is simple. Anyone can do it. You are more than capable of creating a successful life for yourself.

In this week’s article, I will go over the most important habits and behaviors you will need to adopt if you want to generate wealth in your life.

2. “It’s Not Ten Thousand Hours, It’s Ten Thousand Iterations”

On this week’s episode, Ethan and I talk about The Newsette, a newsletter that did $40M in 2021 with just 500k subscribers (VERY small for that much revenue – amazing!)

We break down the unique model, compare it with other companies, and show you where the opportunity lies.

We also break down the super smart hacks that helped Newsette grow their audience without tons of paid marketing. These tips work for any business, so definitely check it out.

Last, they discuss Schwarzenegger, consistency, and the habits that create opportunities.

Justin Moore has been an inspiring example of how growth starts slow and then compounds.

You probably think of growth as being "slow and steady", that's only half right.

For the most part, growth is SLOW and then it ramps up quickly.

You can see that Justin has been publishing emails consistently since March 2020. His growth was slow as expected.

Then, his growth compounded. This trend chart creates a clear visual.

And guess what?

It is around that time that Justin truly started making money! $$

Yesterday, he sent out another tweet showcasing the success of his coaching program. He has been consistently booking $1000 an hour coaching sessions.

This month he booked 6!

That's how it works!

Success is a funny thing. It doesn't happen little by little. It happens not at all, and then all at once.

Keep going. Get your reps in. Your day will come.

6. The Rise and Fall of American Growth

This week, I read a fascinating curation from Anthony Pompliano. The article is a reflection of the book, entitled The Rise and Fall of American Growth.

It's such a fascinating viewpoint, because in many ways, America has shifted from a manufacturing economy to a services economy.

However, it seems like the American zeitgeist is insisting upon more manufacturing in our boarders, which could easily create a second explosion of growth.

In addition, globalization makes it so that our products and services can be sold to the world. As capitalism continues to reduce poverty rates, more and more countries will join the global economy, which will be a net positive for the US.

It will be very interesting to see.

I'm still long USA. Communism always collapses and other major economies don't have the liquidity that we do.

Debt is a problem, but our electoral process is designed to be self correcting, which gives me optimism that we will elect new representatives who insist on fixing the debt to GDP ratio.

Remember, this is all speculation. No one knows anything, but I think it's foolish to be hawkish on America.

7. The Ultimate Blogging Guide to Content that Works

It only takes about 15 minutes to set up a blog, but it can take years to make money from it.

If you’ve ever seen blogs that appear to profit instantly, it’s usually because the person who started the blog already had a substantial following or personal brand. When that’s the case, they can direct their current audience to their new blog and quickly grow their readership.

For everyone else, this guide will show you how to set up a blog positioned to make money, as well as how to craft a strategy that leads to sustainable growth.

I would make fun of the kid but my brain is melting as well.

9. The British Pound is Collapsing - Or Is It?

Bill Gross is betting on the pound.

“Despite fiscal and political problems, I am long the pound because of an overvaluation of the dollar against all major currencies,” Gross said in an email. “Continued large trade deficits and a ceiling on the Fed’s ability to raise rates to anticipated levels due to future recession will limit further depreciation of the pound and likely lead to future relative increases compared to the dollar.”

10. The Final Thought - "How Did I Get It This Good?"

It's Thursday afternoon. I am writing this in my home office. My brand new daughter, only 3 days old, is propped on the desk laying flat in a mosses basket. She is giving little baby snores.

I've been to some dark places in my life. I've overdosed, I used to cut myself frequently, I spent years in drug addiction and darkness.

But now, life is so good that those dark times feel like another lifetime. I remember them, but I can't relate to them in the same way. The pain of those times has been replaced with joy and purpose.

I love what I do. There is nothing else I would rather do with my life than write on the internet, build businesses, workout, eat healthy, and spend time with my friends and family.

I'm blessed.

So look, if you're reading this and you're in a place in your life where your feeling less than fully content, I want you to take this moment, take a deep breathe, and then decide to get after it.

You're still alive, which means you have a chance. I can't promise you that you'll reach your highest dreams and achievements, but I can promise you that you will regret not trying.

If I can do it, then you can do it. I don't know what I did to deserve all these blessings in my life.

But I will hold on tight.

Love you guys.

Talk to you next week.

Tim
